Tomei will always regret ‘Four Weddings’

By Lisa | November 4, 2007

From contactmusic.com:

Oscar winner MARISA TOMEI will always regret turning down a leading role in smash-hit comedy FOUR WEDDINGS + A FUNERAL. The actress reveals she was offered a part - believed to be the one Andie MACDowell landed - but had to reluctantly say no. She explains, “My grandfather was sick at the time, and I didn’t want to leave (New York). I’m sure it would have been fine with him, but I felt like I didn’t want to go anywhere.”
