According to several blogs and online sources, Marisa is one of the stars rumored to be attached to the Smurf 3-D movie that’s scheduled to come out later this year.  The release of the movie is just part of the year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of Smurfdom.  Sorry, couldn’t help myself lol.  As for the rumor itself, I have not seen anything on any of the major news websites so I have no idea if it’s true.

The Oscar nominations will be announced tomorrow morning @ 8:30am EST.  Send out good thoughts and wishes that Marisa will get a nomination for her performance in Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead.

I have chosen the featured site of the month for February and it’s David Strathairn Online.  David has been a co-star of Marisa’s on stage for the 2003 reading of ‘Salome’ on Broadway and a performance of ‘Hawthorne Revisted’ in 2004.  He is an extremely talented actor and one of my personal favorites.  Andrea has been running her fansite since 2004 and it’s definitely a must visit if you’re a fan of David or his work.  Congrats Andrea!
