This is probably one of the hardest online decision I’ve ever had to make.  After nine years (minus a couple offline), I am saying goodbye to Exclusively Marisa.  I have enjoyed providing Marisa Tomei fans with news and photos for a long time but lately… it just isn’t fun for me anymore.  I am no longer as interested in her career as I once was and to be honest, I liked her better before she decided to bare all for the camera.  Don’t get me wrong, I think she did an amazing job in both Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead and The Wrestler and am not complaining about her choices.  This is just one of the many reasons my heart is no longer in this site.

The site will remain open until the domain expires in mid-October.  I still have time to change my mind but I doubt that will happen.  I’ve also made a complete backup of all the files from the gallery in the event I change my mind much later down the road but again, I doubt that will happen.

I will always be a fan of Marisa and her work.  I wish nothing but the best for her, her family, and her career.  It has been a pleasure being the webmiss of this site and serving fellow fans for so many years.

It was time for a new layout at the gallery.  I’m not 100% satisfied with how it turned out so expect some changes here and there over the next couple days.

On behalf of all the Marisa Tomei fans out there, I want to wish Marisa a very happy and wonderful 44th birthday.  In celebration, I have put up a brand new layout for the site featuring a few photos spanning Marisa’s career.  There will be a few more changes to the sidebar either later tonight or tomorrow.

Marisa will appear on “Regis and Kelly” this Tuesday, June 10, as part of “Broadway Week” (promoting Top Girls).

I’m still confused as to what’s going on with War, Inc.  Every site that I’ve found says that it’s coming out on DVD on July 1st but that it’s also being released May 23rd in theaters.  That’s an extremely short window.  So for now, I’m gonna say that War, Inc. will be in theaters on May 23rd.

I have made a decision on the Before the Devil Knows contest.  There will be no vote.  Instead, both participants will receive the DVD once it releases on the 15th of this month.  Due to the lack of interest, I will probably not run anymore contests.

I am trying to decide what I want to do with the site.  Don’t worry, it’s not going to close or be put up for adoption/sale.  I’m just considering changing hosts again.  I LOVE the host that I’m on for many reasons.  My other sites are hosted by fan-sites.org and they are about to set up a new server so media archives can be streaming.  My current host does not allow this so I had been looking into how I was going to set up the archive since I wanted all my videos to be streaming.  Anyway, I’m going to talk to my host over at fan-sites and see if she’s willing to only host the media archive.  If not, I will probably change hosts once again - although it’s such a huge pain in the ass.
